An Attorney Who Truly Understands The Divorce Process
I am attorney Randall Steele. For over 30 years I have helped people successfully and smoothly navigate the divorce process. I am the principal of the firm Steele Law Offices, LLC, and a lifelong resident of Madison County. I work one-on-one with you to understand your goals, offer advice including how to manage finances and when to file for bankruptcy. I know how frustrating it can be when your divorce seems to drag on, and you can’t get any information about where you stand. I am a small firm. I dedicate my focus and time to ensure that you are fully updated on all developments in your case. When you call, you speak with me and I will provide prompt responses and emails. Call me at 618-288-9591 to find out how I can help you.
Over 30 Years of Helping People Attain A Successful Divorce
I work with people who need to leave a marriage that isn’t working or isn’t healthy. I can help you at any stage of the divorce process, whether you are only considering filing for divorce, or your divorce is final and you need help with a request for modification or enforcement of a final decree. I will help you resolve any type of dispute that arises out of divorce, including:
- Allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time (child custody and visitation) -I can work with you to create and put into place custody and visitation arrangements that are in the best interests of your minor children. I know how important it is for you to be able to have meaningful time with your children and I will work to ensure this happens.
- Child support – I will carefully review all proposed child support orders to ensure compliance with Illinois guidelines. I will verify that all relevant income is included in the calculation, including self-employment, seasonal and commission-based income to make sure that all assets that should be included are included.
- Alimony or spousal support – I will work with you to determine whether alimony is warranted and, if so, how much should be paid and for how long.
- Property division – The law calls for an equitable division of both the debts and assets of your marriage. This includes including real estate, personal property, financial accounts, retirement funds and business interests.
